Community Action Plan 2022 – 2023

The Community Action Plan (CAP) serves as a two (2) year roadmap demonstrating how Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) agencies plan to deliver CSBG services. The CAP identifies and assesses poverty-related needs and resources in the community and establishes a detailed plan, goals, and priorities for delivering those services to individuals and families most affected by poverty. CSBG funds may be used to support activities that assist low-income families and individuals, homeless families and individuals, migrant or seasonal farmworkers, and elderly low-income individuals and families by removing obstacles and solving problems that block the achievement of self‐sufficiency.

CET requires your help in understanding the needs of you and your community so that we can be certain the resources and solutions we have in place are most effective in ensuring your success. CET values your feedback.  You are an active participant in helping us to shape and form service delivery systems that meet your needs. Your active engagement is essential in our ability to collect valuable first-hand information directly from the population we serve.

Zoom Meeting Schedules:

Center for Employment Training (CET) invites you to participate in our Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) Public Hearing. The Public Hearing is open to any person who is interested in providing opinions and advice to the CET Board of Directors about the needs of low-income residents, particularly migrant and seasonal farmworkers and other disadvantaged individuals. We ask for participation from community partners and residents in reviewing CET’s CAP to let us know if there are any critical unmet needs that are not addressed.

Public Hearings will be held virtually via ZOOM:
