Notice of Public Hearings & Draft of Community Action Plan 2020 – 2021
Pursuant to California Government Code 12747 (b)–(d), Center for Employment Training will be conducting Public Hearings to elicit the testimonies of the public regarding the needs of low-income residents, particularly migrant & seasonal farmworkers and other disadvantaged individuals. The Public Hearings are open to the general public and will be conducted in both English and Spanish.
Attendees and the general public are encouraged to review and comment on CET’s DRAFT 2020-2021 Community Action Plan in order to provide opinions and advice regarding CET’s goals and strategies to:
- provide services and assistance to low-income people that will promote economic independence;
- identify the critical, unmet needs in the community; and
- improve services to the community.
All comments are welcome prior to the submittal of the final draft to the State of California’s Department of Community Services & Development by June 30, 2019.
